Customization
A name, a year or a short message turns an LED neon sign into a gift meant for one person. Here is how personalization works at Neon LED Gift and how to get the wording right.
What you can personalize
- Text: names, initials, nicknames such as “Mom”, “Dad” or “Grandma”, a class year, or a short phrase, on designs that include a text field.
- Size: where a design comes in more than one size, the options and measurements are on its product page.
- Color: where a design offers color choices, they are listed as options on the product page.
Ideas by occasion
- Christmas and the holidays: a family surname with a tree or star, or a short seasonal greeting for the mantel.
- Valentine’s Day and anniversaries: two first names or initials with a heart, or a date that matters to you both.
- Mother’s Day and Father’s Day: the name grandchildren use, or a nickname only the family knows.
- Graduations and milestones: the graduate’s name and class year, or a congratulation for a retirement or new job.
Tips for wording
- Shorter text reads better in neon. On the smallest size of a design, one to three words usually works best.
- Type the text exactly as you want it: capital letters, punctuation and spacing are produced as entered.
- Double-check the spelling of names. A second pair of eyes helps.
Before production starts
If something in your request is unclear, we may email you to confirm the details before work begins. If you notice a mistake in your text, email us as soon as possible. Within 24 hours of checkout an order can be cancelled at no charge; after that, production may have started and a 15% cancellation fee applies to cancellations.
